Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between ACCUDY ("ACCUDY", "we") and the business that opens a store ("you"). They apply to the ACCUDY back office, tills, websites, apps, hardware and services. By opening a store or using ACCUDY you agree to them. To contact us, email privacy@accudy.com.

Your account

You must be a business and at least 18. Keep sign-in details safe and give staff only the access they need. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.

Plans, trials and payment

Plans are billed monthly in advance to the card on file, plus any add-ons, apps, services and hardware you buy. Prices exclude VAT unless shown. A trial ends on the date shown and you choose whether to carry on. If a payment fails we will try again and may limit the account until it is paid.

Your store and your customers

You own your products, content and customer information. You are the seller to your customers and responsible for your own prices, tax, products, refunds and legal notices, including your own privacy policy and terms (ACCUDY gives you a default you can change). We process your customers' information only on your instructions, under the data processing terms that form part of this agreement.

Acceptable use

Do not use ACCUDY for anything unlawful, unsafe or misleading, to sell prohibited goods, to send unsolicited messages, or to interfere with the service or other stores. We may suspend a store or remove content that breaks these rules, telling you why where we can.

Payments and hardware

Card payments are provided by our payment partners under their own terms, which you accept when you connect them. ACCUDY never stores full card numbers. Hardware bought from ACCUDY comes with the warranty and returns terms shown when you buy it.

Availability and support

We work to keep ACCUDY available at all times and fix problems quickly, but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Tills keep taking sales offline where the feature allows. We give support through the back office and email.

Liability

Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect loss, or loss of profit, revenue or data, except where the law does not allow this to be limited. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Ending the agreement

You can close your store at any time from Settings. The plan ends at the end of the month you have already paid for. We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or at once for serious breach. You can export your data before your store closes.

Changes and law

We may change these terms with at least 30 days' notice for changes that affect you. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
